Recommended Run Order

Do these in order — each run clears specific objectives without conflicting with others. Toolboxes persist between runs so you never lose them.

Layout Run — Learn the Track
No objectives — just drive

Don't chase any dares on your first run. Just learn the track layout — where the corners are, where the big air ramps are, where the side lanes branch off. Note where you see toolboxes and charms but don't stress about collecting them.

Pay special attention to: the LRT rainbow tunnel location, the halfpipe area for the 540, and where the Moai Heads are for the MOA dare. This knowledge makes every subsequent run much faster.

Collectibles Run — 3TB + LRT + LC + GR + MRE
All collectibles + rainbow road unlock

⚠ Critical order: Complete the LRT rainbow tunnel BEFORE sweeping lucky charms. The LRT opens the upper lane which contains additional charm locations. Doing charms first means missing upper-lane charms.

Start with the LRT loop — find the rainbow tunnel and complete the loop. This unlocks the upper lane. Then sweep 3 toolboxes on side routes, 2 gears near off-main-line ramps (use charged RT jump to reach), lucky charms including upper lane ones, and the movie reel near the track finale.

Toolboxes persist between runs — if you got some in run 1, they stay collected. Focus on any you missed.

Skill Dares Run — 20C + 540 + MOA + 3DT + 3TC + No-Crash
Hard dares — attempt separately from collectibles

⚠ Note: The no-crash dare is invalidated by any respawn collision. Attempt this only when your trick execution is fully consistent — one bail ends it. Combine with 20C only when both are comfortable individually.

20C (20-trick combo): Use Kickflip/Heelflip/Shuvit rotation — basic tier tricks land fastest. Don't attempt Intermediate or above during a 20C run until your basics are automatic. Grinds count toward combo but NOT toward the 20 trick count.

540 dare: The halfpipe is your only location. Full right stick 360 rotation while airborne. Practice this motion in Trick Park first until it's consistent before attempting on the halfpipe.

MOA (Moai Heads): Honk with L as you approach the Moai Heads, then pull off a trick over them. Combined input — honk + trick simultaneously.

Gold Medal Runs — Score + Time (separate runs)
Two separate focused runs
Score Gold Time Gold

Score gold: Build a 5-trick rotation using Basic + Intermediate tricks. Focus on the biggest air ramps — they give the most combo time. Activate Overtime by keeping your combo alive for the full run. Use the Gap Calculator to see exactly how many points you need.

Time gold: Completely separate run from score. No tricks needed — pure speed. Master drift release timing through every corner. Chain ultradrifs (LT + left stick) through S-curves. The launch boost at 3-2-1 is essential — press jump at exactly the right moment.

Trick Park Gold
Score attack in the Trick Park

Trick Park is accessible from the main menu after completing story tracks. It's a timed score attack with no collectibles — just tricks. Build a high-density trick rotation and focus on the biggest air ramps. Chapter 3 abilities are unlocked early here for practice.
