Confirmed by the developers: each repeated use of the same trick in a run lowers its score value. The Basic Spin is the only trick the demo let you use before the repeat penalty activates. Diversity is rewarded — use every trick in your kit.
The Overtime mechanic — added post-demo based on player feedback — extends your run timer as long as your combo stays alive. A longer run means more tricks and a higher score ceiling. Don't let the combo drop.
Grind Switch lets you shift rails mid-grind without breaking your combo. Use it to bridge gaps between trick opportunities and keep the multiplier climbing.
Landing in Manual (stick forward/back on landing) prevents a combo reset between jumps. Essential for chaining air tricks across multiple ramps in a single run.
