Bosses Tier List

All confirmed Denshattack! bosses ranked by difficulty. Yoshie is fully rated. All other bosses update as community defeats them post-launch.

Boss Rankings

B
Yoshie Mitsutake — Chapter 1, Kyushu
The tutorial boss — designed to introduce boss mechanics without overwhelming new players. Multi-phase with a rocket punch signature move to dodge. B-tier because she teaches all the core patterns (dodge → find opening → trick to deal damage) that appear in later bosses. Beatable on first or second attempt for most players once the patterns are read. Her boss theme "Fashion Overdrive" is excellent.
?
Morzilla — Chapter Unknown
Confirmed kaiju boss — name from "I'm Afraid of no Kaiju!" achievement. Expected to be a large-scale environmental fight given the Godzilla-inspired name. Difficulty TBC post-launch. See the Morzilla guide for what we know.
?
Chapter 2–8 Bosses — Unknown
All chapter bosses 2–8 update as community defeats them post-launch. The Steam description confirms types: moving castles, mechanical worms, and a Denshattacker army — each expected to escalate in difficulty and spectacle. See the Boss Database for chapter context.
?
Final Boss — Chapter 9, ...And Beyond
"The Full Force of Denshattack" chapter. Almost certainly the hardest boss in the game — final bosses in score-attack games typically require mastery of all mechanics learned through the campaign. Expected S or A tier. Rating posts when community confirms defeat.

General Boss Tips

Read Patterns First

Take your first boss attempt as a scouting run. Don't stress about performing well — just watch the attack animations, note which lanes are safe, and identify the damage windows.

Tricks During Openings

Boss fights in Denshattack! work on an opening system — after each boss attack, there's a window where tricks deal damage. Maximise trick output during these windows.

Drift Boost for Positioning

Drift boost helps you reach the correct lane quickly when dodging boss attacks. Don't drift randomly — use it purposefully to get to the safe lane before attacks land.

Escalating Difficulty

Developers confirmed bosses "get wilder and wilder." Each boss introduces a new mechanic not seen in previous fights. Don't assume later bosses work like Yoshie — read each one fresh.
