Lucky Charms are the signature collectible of each Denshattack! level — found on alternate lane routes. Always unlock the LRT rainbow road first before your charm sweep.
Lucky Charms are small collectible items found along alternate lane routes — branches off the main track that require active lane switching to reach. Each level has either LC2 (2 charms) or LC4 (4 charms) depending on track length and complexity.
Charms are often placed on upper lanes — sections you can only reach after unlocking the LRT (rainbow road) dare. This is why LRT must always be done first on any level that has it.
⚠ Always complete LRT before sweeping lucky charms.
The LRT rainbow road loop unlocks the upper lane of the track. Some lucky charms are placed on this upper lane and cannot be reached without completing LRT first. If you sweep charms before LRT, you will miss the upper lane charms and need to run the level again.
Standard charm count on shorter or earlier levels. Usually one charm on each side lane — left and right alternate routes. Both accessible after LRT unlock.
Extended charm count on longer or later levels. Mix of ground-level and upper-lane placement. Upper lane charms (usually 2 of the 4) require LRT to be completed first.
Don't mix charm collection with trick or score runs. Chasing charms requires slow, deliberate lane switching — opposite to a speed or combo run. Give charms their own dedicated pass.
Push the left stick left or right to switch lanes. You can switch mid-air during a jump — useful for reaching charms on elevated alternate routes. Lane switches don't break combo if the stick is neutral during the switch frame.
Upper lane charms often require a jump to reach the elevated section. Use charged RT jump (hold longer) for extra height. Time the jump early — upper lane entrances can be easy to miss at full speed.
On your first collectible run, focus on memorising where each charm is rather than grabbing everything. Second pass is much faster when you know the exact locations and timing for each branch.
The demo level has LC2 as the base dare, with additional upper lane charms accessible after the LRT rainbow road loop. Complete LRT on run 2, then sweep all charms in the same run.
